Dr. Gianluca Cerri is an Emergency Medicine physician with over two decades of experience in clinical care, administration, and medical leadership. Born in Milan, Italy, he pursued his academic journey in the United States, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Magna Cum Laude) from Nicholls State University before completing his medical degree at Louisiana State University Medical School. His training included an Internal Medicine Residency, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by specialized Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Over his career, Dr. Cerri has held roles as Emergency Medicine Physician, Flight Physician, AEMS Director, Clinical Assistant Professor, and Expert Medical Witness. Recognized for professionalism and patient-centered care, he has earned awards including the Healthgrades Honor Roll, Patient Experience Award, and Extraordinary Service Award.
